The Coloring Project

The Coloring Project is more than a creative endeavor—it’s a heartfelt invitation to healing, mindfulness, and connection. Across schools, hospitals, shelters, and community centers, people of all ages are discovering how coloring these compassionate faces can bring calm, inspire self-expression, and nurture hope.

Therapeutic Benefits of Coloring the 64 Faces of Awakening

Adult coloring books have made their way into the mainstream, as a growing number of people are using them to soothe the stressed out soul, reclaim the creative spirit, and bring playfulness and healing to themselves, their families and friends, and their community.

As a spiritual counselor with a background in expressive arts therapy, I've witnessed the power of coloring to lower stress, anxiety, low self-esteem and depression, as well as to facilitate a calm, centered and mindful state of being.

This is why it thrills me to see The 64 Faces of Awakening Coloring Book being donated and used by groups and organizations all over the world!

See groups/organizations already benefiting from the Coloring Book through the link below.

Do you know of a group or organization that could benefit from a creative encounter with the compassionate Wisdom Keepers?

Coloring books have been used in schools, libraries, hospitals, social service organizations, art programs, youth homes, support groups, community centers, mental-health agencies, women's or homeless shelters, foster care organizations, prison or rehabilitation centers, senior citizen homes, groups dealing with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), domestic abuse organizations, veteran treatment programs, and Alzheimer's units.

If you donate a batch of 10 or more coloring books to a place, group or organization you admire or are a part of, I will share about them here, including a short description of their mission, a link to their web site, and images of colored-in Wisdom Keepers sent to me by those working with the coloring books.

Let's shine a light on the wonderful things people are doing in the world, and how the Wisdom Keepers can contribute to the much-needed services already being provided.

"I was first introduced to the 64 Faces of Awakening as individual works of art, and was immediately drawn to them. I loved that they represented a global expression of Wisdom Keepers, different ethnicities and ages, and was fascinated that they weren’t just artistic faces. There was such a depth to each Wisdom Keeper. When I gazed at them, they felt relaxing, supportive, meditative, heart-opening—so I was thrilled when the coloring book came out! I was intrigued that Rosy writes about faces being one of the most powerful channels of nonverbal communication, and how as babies (and adults!) we relax and thrive with empathic faces. These Wisdom Keepers are truly a gift."
