64 Songs of Awakening is a living oracle of sound
co-created by Rosy Aronson and StarBird Maricle.
Through the universal language of voice, improvisation and deep listening, we weave sacred melodies, prayers and spontaneous vocal soundscapes into an intuitive tapestry of remembrance, unity and love. Many of the pieces began as simple improvisations — a voice, a piano phrase, a drum, or a remembered chant — and gradually unfolded through layering, collaboration and intuitive composition.
The songs move gently between cultures and traditions, honoring sacred melodies passed down through generations while allowing new forms to emerge. Each offering is guided by a deep intention to dissolve boundaries, honor ancestors, awaken ancestral wisdom, and celebrate the interconnectedness of all beings.
Each song in the series is inspired by one of the 64 Wisdom Keepers, or Faces of Awakening, from the Wisdom Keepers Oracle Deck created by Rosy Aronson. The names and archetypal frequencies of the Wisdom Keepers are inspired by the Gene Keys, a contemporary body of wisdom rooted in the ancient I-Ching and brought into the world by poet and teacher Richard Rudd.
Many cultures, one heartbeat — affirming that we belong to one another, to the Earth, and to the love that sings through all things.
Traditions Honored
Many of the songs on this album are inspired by sacred musical traditions that have traveled across cultures and through generations. With deep gratitude we acknowledge the lineages that have carried these melodies into the present—including the Lakota tradition, Sufi Zikr chants, the Jewish Kol Nidre chant, Aramaic Psalm chanting, the Seven Line Prayer of Guru Rinpoche from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, the Ave Maria chant from the Christian tradition, and the traditional French folk song À la claire fontaine.
These recordings are offered with humility and respect for the cultural and spiritual roots from which they arise. While we sometimes draw inspiration from traditional melodies, prayers, or words in different languages, our focus is on the living spirit of the music—its energy, frequency, and capacity to open the heart. Rather than attempting to reproduce these sacred songs exactly, we listen for the deeper essence they carry and allow it to inspire new expressions of devotion, remembrance, and connection.
Artist Bios
Rosy Aronson
Rosy Aronson is an interdisciplinary artist, author and guide whose work unfolds through listening—listening to images, stories, relationships, and now, sound. Her musical offerings emerge as a natural extension of a lifelong devotion to creative inquiry, archetypal wisdom, and living in attunement.
As the creator of the Wisdom Keepers Oracle and co-creator of the Dream Arc, and trained as an expressive arts and drama therapist, Rosy has spent decades exploring synchronicity, improvisation, and art as a way of life. Her work invites a softening of inner pressure and a return to trust in the unfolding moment.
Through voice and intuitive song, she allows sound to carry what images and words cannot always express. Her songs are discovered rather than composed, arising through presence and deep listening. Rooted in many traditions yet belonging to none, they move as prayers of remembrance rather than performance.
Guided by the understanding that love is a practice, not a concept, Rosy’s music offers a space of connection—where creativity is relational, and life itself becomes the art.
She lives and creates in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
StarBird Maricle
StarBird Maricle is a vocalist and sound-based healing artist whose work unfolds through devotion, listening, and the living intelligence of the voice. Her musical offerings arise from a long relationship with vibration, ceremony, ancestors and the subtle realms where sound becomes a bridge between worlds.
Rooted in shamanic lineage and vibrational healing, StarBird works with toning, ancient sounds, star language and intuitive vocalization as pathways of remembrance and restoration. Her voice is shaped by years of movement, dance, ceremonial practice, and her love of French cabaret—where storytelling, intimacy, and presence meet the art of song.
Through voice, she invites a softening of inner boundaries and an awakening of the heart’s innate radiance. Her songs are devotional rather than performative—emerging through presence, patience, and reverence for what wishes to move through.
Guided by the understanding that sound is a living force, StarBird’s music offers a space of healing and celebration—where listening becomes prayer, and love reveals itself as a vibrational truth.
She was born in Paris and now lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Recording & Production Notes
Tracks were recorded in a variety of spaces, including Dragonfly Studio in Santa Fe, the home studios of the artists, and other intimate recording environments where voices could unfold naturally. Many of the recordings began as simple improvisations and gradually evolved through layering, collaboration, and attentive listening.
